One of Africa’s largest law firms needed information on a public limited company located in Tanzania and one of its high-profile directors. Diligencia was asked to assist with their company research and provide information on the director, including his career history, reputation, and political connections.
The solution:

Meanwhile, Diligencia’s team of analysts conducted additional due diligence on both the company and the individual, including media research, global compliance checks and local source enquiries.
The result:
Diligencia’s research found the director to be a well-respected businessman with diverse business interests in telecommunications, mining and media to name a few. He has close relationships with ministers and other politicians and was a former politician himself. We also found allegations of a corruption scandal he may have been involved in, although was never prosecuted for.
